Carlisle, PA

22.1.09

Bright and early, up and at 'em! I'm beginning to find getting up before day time to not be so difficult. Everything went according to time schedule and I was at the Greyhound station in very good time. Discovered why the queues are typically so far out the door - at the start of the day they have no staff working - so the few customers become money, too quickly. Love the service of some "customer service agents" - snapping and snarling at customers struggling to comprehend basic concepts.

Boarded bus and was off for my drive through the countryside. 3.25 hours later was pulling in to the Harrisburg bus station, collecting my bags and meeting Geneva. A few false starts heading off from the bus station and we were on the road to Carlisle. Short drive and we were there.

A restful and relaxing day was to come - not much movement or activity! Lovely. A turkey breast had been cooked for lunch/dinner (delicious!), Michael came home from school early afernoon, we watched Seinfeld. That was about it for excitement! Very relaxing and just what my poor, tired legs needed - a recliner chair and a tv!!! hehe.
